Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Mr John Jeffery is a Bristol-based consultant surgeon that treats all Paediatric Orthopaedic problems with a specialist interest in knee conditions from the simple to the complex. He trained in London and Oxford before coming to work at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Mr Jeffery is passionate about helping young people live an active lifestyle, free of pain, and to develop healthy habits that they can continue into adulthood.
Mr Jeffery aims to provide every patient and their family with a timely, professional assessment and treatment plan which, for some, may involve surgery. He has a lot of experience treating young athletes and works closely with regional sports, dance and gymnastics academies. He is also a regional ambassador for Power Up To Play, helping to prevent knee injuries in youth sports.
Outside of work he remains a keen athlete himself. He understands the resilience and commitment it takes to perform at a high level, but also to recover from injury and surgery.
